How we handle your information
This page explains what the QUANTA website keeps when you send us an inquiry, and for how long.

Who we are
The website is run by QUANTA General Trading, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. For any question about your information, or to see, correct or delete it, email orders@quanta4me.com.
When you send an inquiry
We keep what you type in the form (name, company, email, phone and message), your product list and project details. We use them only to answer you and prepare quotations.
With the inquiry, your browser also sends a short summary of this visit, so we can understand what you need and help you better:
- the pages and product families you opened, and the time spent on each
- your searches and the files you downloaded
- the type of device and browser, screen size, language and time zone
- the website you came from, for example a search engine
- whether the form showed a problem or a send failed
The summary covers only the visit in which you sent the inquiry. It is sent only if you send an inquiry. If your browser has "Do Not Track" switched on, no summary is sent.
Approximate location
When an inquiry arrives, our server uses your internet (IP) address to look up an approximate city and country. Only the city and country are kept, never the IP address. The result is approximate: a VPN, a company network or a mobile operator can show another place.
The lookup uses the free IP to City Lite database from DB-IP, on our own server. Nothing is sent to DB-IP or anyone else.

Form statistics
The inquiry forms also count, per day and in total only, how often they are opened, show a problem, fail to send or are sent. These counts contain nothing about you and cannot identify anyone, including people who never send an inquiry.
On your device
The website uses no cookies and no outside analytics or advertising services. Your browser keeps some things on your own device: your language, your inquiry lists, your saved contact details if you choose to save them, and a record of the pages you visited for the visit summary. That record is removed after 30 days and never leaves your device unless you send an inquiry.
How long we keep it

Why we use it
We use this information because we have a legitimate interest in answering inquiries well and in keeping the website easy to use. We never sell it or use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or object to its use, by emailing orders@quanta4me.com. If you are in the European Union or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
