Why QUANTA?

Our name comes from quantum mechanics—a reflection of our founder’s engineering background and lasting curiosity about how things work.

1992 Mosul, Iraq

The foundation: Saba’a Electronics

QUANTA’s founder, Khaldoon Alnoori, began his business journey with Saba’a Electronics in Mosul. Electronics design and manufacturing, including protection and power-regulation products, established a practical discipline: understand the components, test the result and build reliability into the product.

2005 United Arab Emirates

That discipline became QUANTA

Khaldoon established QUANTA in the UAE, bringing that engineering background to the lighting business. The focus extended beyond supplying a fixture to understanding its performance, its application and the support customers need.
